Opportunity for doctors with clinical chemistry specialisation in Sweden

In a beautiful Swedish city located 1 hour away from Stockholm Arlanda Airport, there are two new positions for medical specialists in clinical chemistry. This specialisation is also commonly called as “Patologia clinica” or “biochimica clinica” in Italy, “Medicinska biokemija” in Slovenia, “Биохимия” in Bulgaria or “Medicină de laborator” in Romania and has a perquisition of a medical degree.

One accredited laboratory is looking to add two new colleagues to a competent and dedicated team in Sweden. Regular duties will include interpreting laboratory results, surveillance and introduction of new analysis, method development and implementation together with engineers and biomedical analysts as well as internal training for laboratory personnel and supervision of resident doctors. You will be given an outgoing role towards other clinics in the form of consultation, information, and collaborative projects. Side training is also offered in transfusion medicine with responsibility for donor issues. As in 2021. the laboratory is facing a procurement, which entails new equipment and new methods of analysis, there is a need to open new positions for 2 clinical chemistry specialists.

Candidates are required to have an EU medical license and interest in haematology being an advantage. Candidates should also be driven and committed, have good communicational skills and desire for relocation to Sweden.
