A new competition for family medicine / general medicine specialists has opened in southern Sweden in a small town stretching along the shores of the Baltic Sea and the Hanö archipelago.
Terms of employment
In addition to independently controlling work tasks, family / general medicine specialists have the opportunity to supervise younger colleagues, have regular meetings with colleagues as well as the opportunity to participate in various research and development work. The area of responsibility also includes the protection and care of children, primary care with an emphasis on a holistic approach to the patient, adjustment to teamwork and quality care in cooperation with specialists at a nearby hospital.
With an estimated base salary of between 78,000 SEK and 93,500 SEK and an attractive region offering the possibility of a peaceful life by the sea and the nearby forest, one of the additional benefits is the location as the town is less than a 1:30 drive from Sweden’s third-largest city Malmö and associated airport. In other words, visiting family and friends won’t take you much time!
Candidates are expected to have experience in family / general medicine in an EU Member State, as well as the corresponding specialist title, are adaptable to teamwork and are passionate about caring for local residents.
What can I expect when applying for a position in Sweden?
We provide support to our candidates during the entire process of departure, we help in finding a job for a spouse, educational institutions for the youngest members of the family, apartments and everything else necessary in your relocation to Sweden. Candidates who accept the hospital’s offer and sign a contract have a paid language course for the whole family up to a B2 level. and the hospital pays them all fees in the departure process (costs of relocation of your private belongings, plane tickets, obtaining a license, etc) which greatly aids the departure process. The candidates themselves go through an organized program of additional language training and introduction to the Swedish health care system, which occurs once you move to Sweden.
