July and August - list of job offers for healthcare professionals in Austria, Germany and Switzerland

During the summer months, Austrian, German and Swiss hospitals announce numerous business offers for both specialists and doctors of medicine without specialization. The contests are open for applications until September 15, 2023. The required condition for applying for tenders is a B2 level of the German language (for Germany and Switzerland), or a C1 level of the German language for Austria.

Austrian hospitals have the greatest need for doctors specialists in:

internal medicine,
pulmonology,
radiology,
paediatrics and
gastroenterology.

Austria offers also excellent offers to doctors without specialization who have a C1 certificate in German and are interested in specialization in Austria. Switzerland, on the other hand, has only one simple prerequisite – knowledge of the German language at the B2 level. In this country, tenders have been announced for all doctors of medicine – specialists in one of the branches of medicine, so it is a real opportunity to apply and continue your career in one of the most advanced health systems.

German-speaking countries are among the most frequently chosen destinations of many Croats due to the relatively short distance from family and friends, good standard and quality of life. Working conditions are better than in the domestic healthcare system, although not perfect.
