Job competition for radiographers in central Sweden

The Swedish region of Värmland is looking for up to 8 radiographers. The candidates that agree with the employment contract will start with a paid Swedish language course up to the C1 level. In addition to the language course, the employer also pays the remaining necessary expenses in the process of moving and your departure.
About the employer and the workplace:
The Värmland region has a population of 290,000. Healthcare in the region is focused on the individual needs of patients and is based on the application of scientifically proven processes. The region employs radiographers in three emergency hospitals: Arvika, Karlstad and Torsby. All three hospitals provide patient care in a wide range of medical care.
In addition to the three listed hospitals, the region also employs radiographers at health centres in Säffle and Kristinehamn. Examinations and treatments of patients in health centres and hospitals in the region are performed with the help of CT, X-rays, ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging. Teams usually consist of radiologists and radiographers, nurses and additional staff.
Work conditions:
Salaries are determined on an individual level, depending on the experience and profile of the radiographer. All employees have at least 25 days of paid annual leave and are included from the first working day. All radiographers have the opportunity for additional professional development. The employer also offers the possibility of flexible working hours.
Ideal candidate:
- has 2 years of work experience in the EU
- has experienced providing care such as PVK placement, medication administration, etc.
- has experience in conventional X-ray, DT, MRI and interventions
- is ready to work in a 24-hour hospital environment
- possesses the communication skills necessary in a professional medical environment
- can reach level C1 and obtain a Swedish work license
About the application process:
