Reviews of specialists who moved to Norway and Sweden

19. August 2020.

Today’s reviews of our candidates are brought by two specialists who moved to Norway and Sweden and settled in their new countries about a year and a half ago. If the reviews of Marko and Dijana encourage you to think more actively about relocating, contact us and we will talk about the opportunities that are the best for you 🙂

Marko – Norway – gastroenterologist

The first time I got in touch with your agency was at the Careers in White fair in Zagreb, which is where I applied to several agencies but Zrinka had the fastest answer and a concrete offer. You connected me with your partners in Norway and it all happened pretty quickly. Filling out the paperwork and the CV was a bit dull, but that’s also an important part that plays a role in applying to the competition.

Norway was my first and only choice, other countries simply did not interest me. I have been here for about a year and a half now and I can say that this country has definitely met all my expectations. I liked the hospital from the beginning and I like the extent of work that is given here. It allows me to devote myself to the patient much better than it was the case previously. People and colleagues are wonderful and full of understanding, both in the hospital and in their spare time.

During the interview, I mentioned to the employer that I definitely plan to move to Norway, regardless of their specific offer. They supported me and I even came to Norway earlier than expected and continued to learn and improve my language here. They slowly introduced me to working with patients, which also helped my language a lot.

The relocation process also went without major problems, and I had no doubts when I came here. Of course, it is hard and difficult to come to a new country and a different culture, but when you have a clear goal you are quite prepared for potential obstacles and you can quickly adapt to any situation.

Dijana – Sweden

After a year and a half of already being in Sweden, I can say that I am more or less satisfied with everything. Every institution, including here in Sweden, has problems in the organization of work, but it is far from the problems we encounter in Croatia. Employers and workers are working much harder to improve their work, but there are still situations where there are not enough employees to keep things going.

Everything was great and right during the communication and organization with you and your partners in Sweden. The Swedish language course was very exhausting, but all the teachers are excellent and the entire school is great for that matter. The employer also provided everything as we agreed and previously communicated, and after my arrival and the start of work, everyone tried very hard to provide support. Whether it was the approach in the workplace, accommodation for me and my family and anything else you need to cope in a new environment or the friendly support and advice which hobbies and activities are available in the area.
